    Nope. Ended up "opening" the card to use at any retailer. Still not happy, but best I could get without filing a formal complaint, going through the legal system, etc.

    So after a fire in our house, content insurance has opted to pay us out via a Claims Card. Besides the fact that the majority of the items cannot be replaced at the listed retailers, I cannot find any wording in the policy stating that a claim will be made via a Claims Card.     Buy expensive item (watch or 2 worth 10k) then return a day or two later. Will be given a single voucher to the value of the returned items. Tried and tested - works.

    If you wait an extra day or two then have everything done by the beginning of the month? Since you missed a few things last month, they count for this month as they only processed it in this month. Thus, do things only next month.

    Month to month Contract with MTN or Vodacom

    I'm with MTN and get itemised billing on my bill emailed to me on a monthly basis. Costs a few rands extra per month. If memory serves, it's below R20/month. Just ask for it when signing the contract.
