  • I have lost my phone and I need to do a SIM swap in order to port my number to new network as I had no luck when going into store to block my number and then have them provide me with new SIM so I can keep my old number (SIM swapping ) a simple thing they wouldn't do as he number was still active at time. I don't see myself going back to store as number is now currently not ringing anymore. Please help me

    Seriously, it's just that easy hey, get a new number go to each and every bank you bank with and have them change number and setup for each banking app. Inform school, those apps that come along with it... you get it, that's why sim swapping was created... so Cell C get your act together man or are you just a company for some fronting reason, last time I checked Client centricity goes in hand with customer services.

    Go back to the store and complain to a manager. They must help you with the sim swap first. You can't port without doing the sim swap first, as you no longer have the sim you won't be able to respond to the OTP.
