    Sideloading it doesn't work. Can load the app but it does not run. However, if you install the app on your phone and use Chromecast to cast to the Xioami stick it works really well

    Thanks - please excuse the electronic noob questions. Reading up on the Opto, it provides an output voltage. "Collector to Emiter Voltage 30V" - will that not be a problem for the SW1 interface of the Shelly?

    I have discovered that my gate has an output for an external 4.5VDC status LED. This LED will be on when the gate is open, off when it is closed and then flashes different codes depending on if the gate is opening, closing or blocked. I am thinking I could get a relay like this...

    Looks like for me this will be the simplest option although similarly finding a mounting point could be a challenge. My gate doesn't have sensors that tell it open v closed. It has a magnetic sensor that sees a magnet on the gate pass by it and the it works out open v closed based on distance...

    That's exactly what I want to do, but I can't find anything in the installer manual that shows a built in sensor? How did you know where to connect it?

    So, whether I use a Shelly or SONOF switch, it is easy to get my Gate to open and close from Home Assistant, but I would also like it to know if it is open or closed. With the Garage doors I can just mount a reed switch for that, but that is more difficult with the gate. Has anyone had any...

    Also waiting for the 1L. No Neutral lines in switches. Have used the Dimmer on one and it is perfect. For your 3Gang switch I would imagine you would need 3 X 1Ls as they are single channel. You could look at the 2.5 for 2 channels, but (I think) then you need a neutral line in the switch box...

    Home Automation - Smartkit

    I doubt you will be able to integrate directly with an IDS panel. Their serial bus is proprietary and even they Hyyp IP module doesn't allow you to communicate directly to the panel but goes via their cloud service. Maybe there could be some basic integration possible through the phone line...
