    Special Forces yes... standard SANDF "snipers" not so much. There is quite a difference between having a Marksman tab and being a sniper. Then again I am making assumptions on the Soldier in question - but as far as I can tell from the various articles he was part of the Reserves not active duty SF.

    I wouldn't worry too much - what is the pass rate for sniper school? If anything like the rest of the schooling system I'd venture a guess that we are safe... leaving this here
