Logged into Capitec to check if any new scams went through, seeing as a lot of peeps got hit 02/11. Noticed that they have now activated the online debit order dispute system. RE Telkom theory, I EFT my payments with them.
If they are a legitimate company, then perhaps the fine will be effective. However, they are most likely not, and they will simply ignore it, create a new entity and repeat process. Think of it as E-tolls and the non-payment by motorists.
