    Is anyone out there able to download the BBC iPlayer app onto a Mi box or Apple TV? DNS/VPN will unlock it but how do you get the app onto your TV streaming device?

    Thanks for your replies. I have just got BBC iPlayer through Smart DNS Proxy through my router to my computer via Firefox. I'm just not sure if my new Smart Samsung which is still in the box will allow it. I'm pretty sure if I use a DNS AND an Apple TV it will work, but I would prefer he TV...

    If I use a Smart DNS or VPN plus an Apple TV will it allow me to stream BBC iPlayer on a Samsung TV?

    Smart DNS Proxy say, 'Samsung models out of UK cannot use BBC iPlayer because they lock down some apps'. They do not make this statement for other makes of TV.

    Do any SA Smart TV's support BBC iPlayer? Samsung, HiSense and LG do not apparently. How can you steam BBC iPlayer to your TV?
