Nope. My son has an MTN contract (which I pay for - he was wise and didn't want Vodacom), and his phone identifies numbers and there is no CLIP R10 on his bill.
That when people call you, you can see who is calling. Mine simply says "hidden number" or "unknown number", so you can't see who is calling and can't block the damned telemarketers.
I did apologise for the long rant. Cliffsnotes version: Vodacom are extorting an extra R10 per month to "unlock" the number identification service. Since when?
To add to my thread, no other telecoms service provider charges customers for number identification. Why does Vodacom think they can get away with this?
