    SARU screwing over loyal fans

This looks like viagogo, where people can ask any price they want for the tickets. Original price was max R4500 if I recall correctly. Last year some tickets were going for 30k+ for the Cape Town game. Durban games (where my seats are) were selling for 20k a ticket via this channel.

    SARU screwing over loyal fans

They will give away complimentary tickets to fill the place up. I ended up going for the game on Saturday - they issued us with "complimentary" tickets, even though we paid full price. And we did not get our seats that we paid for, but rather the same stand. Everyone around us all had...

Same issue with Sharks vs All Blacks. Season tickets are for all Sharks games - but they excluding this game and charging us R1250 per ticket for this 1 match

    SARU screwing over loyal fans

Been a Sharks Season ticket holder for 17+ years. This year, when renewing for the 2026/2027 season, we were offered tickets to the Springboks vs Wales game, where we could keep our current season ticket seats. The Sharks announced this via email, had a sign up campaign for it etc. They struck a...

Moving Fibre ISP - does it really take a month to do?

Update: Openserve mentioned there is an early release fee, which I said I will gladly pay. They told me to chat to ISP. Got hold of someone higher up at Vodacom, who said they cannot do anything. They dont know what fee is payable. And I must just wait the 1 month out! If I were to just take a...

Moving Fibre ISP - does it really take a month to do?

I am getting nowhere with this. Have also been in contact with Openserve, who confirmed that vodacom only requested cancellation this week. If they have to release the line earlier, it will be a cost for Vodacom, which is probably why Vodacom is not acknowledging it History: 18/07/2019 - email...

Interesting - did not know this. What speeds do you get? Can the adsl account be from anyone?

Moving Fibre ISP - does it really take a month to do?

Dont have a land line, so ADSL is out. I have ordered a RAIN simcard, which should hopefully be here tom. My alternative, is to cancel the afrihost order. And re-activate my vodacom fibre - which they said should be immediate, since they currently own the line. But I really do not want to go...

Moving Fibre ISP - does it really take a month to do?

That's what I tried explaining to the call centre yesterday - im sure they messed up. When they cancelled my account, they forgot to notify openserve about the release. Awaiting a call back from them today. I asked them to re-activate the data (at their cost) till the line gets released.

Moving Fibre ISP - does it really take a month to do?

Yeah, the net is off for a week now. I have asked a friend, but his SP does not provide the login details - neither does Vodacom. I have asked Afrihost to try taking ownership again, but it fails with "Other operator active"

Moving Fibre ISP - does it really take a month to do?

Sorry, its Vodacom ISP. Line is with Openserve. Vodacom initially mentioned it will be 1 month cancellation, which i was fine with (even though it took them over 2 months). Because during that time I was still able to use it. But to wait a further 1 month from openserve just does not seem...

Moving ISP. Line will still be with Openserve, as they are the only fibre provider in my area

Moving Fibre ISP - does it really take a month to do?

Been trying to move of vodacom fibre to Afrihost. Put in a request to Vodacom to cancel my service (contract was up). Took them over 2 months to do this. When afrihost tried taking over the line (Openserve), they found that Vodacom had not yet released the line. Many many phone calls, emails...
