Remotely turn the Geyser on and off

I have a POW R2 attached to my 3.5Kw geyser. Works perfectly. Load never goes past 3.2 Kw / 13.5 amps. I have it installed in my DB so have been able to check to make sure it doesn’t get hotand it doesn’t. I know it’s a risk but I thought I’d take it and I’m happy with it and that it’s safe...

    Home Automation - Smartkit

I spose that's one way of doing it. I've read that some guys have used submersible sensors that measure the pressure from applied by the water in the tank but my concern is silt build up messing with the sensor. :-/

Anyone out there done anything with monitoring their JoJo tanks water level? Looking for something ESP8266 based like Sonoff etc. with a recommended sensor to track the tank levels. TIA

    Starting out with Sonoff

I would seriously recommend it. Takes a bit of getting used to as there is more config involved in setting your device up. But once you have done one, it's pretty much copy and paste with a few edits thereafter. No lag in button presses or commands from HA and its super stable.

Thats why I use ESPHome. No need for MQTT and the devices flashed with ESPHome run far more responsively than Tasmota

    Starting out with Sonoff

If you want to be able to control your light switches with the 433Mhz remote or Sonoff RF Bridge then you can look at buying the ones with the 433Mhz built in - I don't see any need for this myself. But someone else out there might have a good use case. The square shaped one is a US type light...
