    Anyone who meets the inclusion criteria can participate, however, participation does require one or two visits to the Sports Science Institute of South Africa in Newlands, Cape Town. If you are from Gauteng, it may not be practical to participate.

    Thanks for commenting. The study is an observational study, so you will find out the what, but not the why. Unfortunately participants need to be located in Cape Town. Thanks though.

    The waist circumference criteria is only for the high BMI group. The low BMI group must have a waist circumference below 88cm (females) and 102cm (males), but as you said, everyone with a BMI less than 25 will meet that criteria.
