    Yeah that is just not good, I am guessing the latency will be at least 200 for people who need to go through CPT to JHB first. This brings me full circle back to weighing up price premium vs performance. I work for a company in EU so international traffic is important to me not only for gaming.

    Seems very stable after restoration, however my Escape From Tarkov ping to SA server is 167 which is higher than to EU (150). Somerset West, Vumatel. It should be around 20 or therabouts. Is there weird routing going on to mitigate the aforementioned issues?

    As far as I can tell the entire De Velde estate (Somerset West) Vumatel fibre is out since about an hour ago. Does anyone have any updates to what's causing the outage? Our fibre ONTs has no service/broadband at all.

    Completely agree. I started monitoring around half an hour ago using a sensor in Home Assistant but it has been ongoing the entire day like this, and it was way worse earlier.
