Yes the last few years one had to make more and more compromises, so I had to draw a line. Just moving my savings out from FNB (I have quite a bit and was relying on this for my eBucks levels) to better investments is making up for my lost eBucks. And now I will NEVER be tempted to upgrade to a...
Ebucks so after 10 years on Lvl 5 Premium I finally am for the very first time on Level 3. I earned practically no eBucks this month because I moved out all my savings to a better institution instead of keeping it with FNB for the sake of eBucks levels as I had done for many years. I also...
Thank you for this but hahhahaha - Deposit 36k (once off) into your tax free = 1500 - yeah not gonna happen - have mine for years with a much better place with lower fees and better investments.
Adding to all the insightful posts here about recent eBucks changes. I chased eBucks for 10 years and was always on Lvl 5 Premium. I just decided it is no longer worth jumping through costly loops.
As others have mentioned their insurance products are expensive. I once contacted them to see if...
Ha Mr Norris - during all my years on the forum here I noticed you are working for FNB. Poor people cannot meet the criteria to earn eBucks or levl 5-eBucks, so their bank fees go to supplementing the eBucks of the wealthy instead of getting paid back to them as eBucks.. That way it balances...
Dropping the eBucks chasing after 10 years. Not worth it to get any of the insurance products (after all once they have enough numbers of one product they will just drop it from the rules and shove in another new useless product). Need to take my time to study benefits and rates at other...
I used to order fresh food items like fruit and meat from Checkers for the past decade and cannot recall a single problem. Never received cheese with mould. So I tend to disagree on that. Woolworths is of course even better. I use deliveries for most things. PicknPay is really disappointing.
When the new PicknPay rules came out I was all in and decided to try out PicknPay, knowing it was a rather degraded store but hoping that with the new FNB support they would get out of the doldrums.
Things have only gone worse eversince. From twice receiving delivered cheese with green mould...
Yeah it sucks - I ask myself if this will be my last eBucks year...thing is if I cannot make Level 5 anymore I will ditch it altogether. Not worth jumping through hoops for peanuts.
Thank you!
Also - so App use is no longer necessary? Like before I think you had to do 6 App transactions every month - but I do not see that anywhere anymore? So no need to use the App at all? Okay apart from checking the Track my Rewards and Nav Money sections.
"Use your Virtual Card for 80% of your qualifying in-store spend in a calendar month."
In-store spend would include petrol purchase at Engen right? Or because fuel is in its own category it is not counted?
Double checking this because they can be finicky and one little misstep and you miss...
I think my whole point was some people have:
1. No kids.
2. Kids that are now older than 18 and can no longer have FNBY accounts.
3. No wife / husband.
To qualify for the Clicks thing you either need a spouse or a kid UNDER 18.
Oh yeah right keep breeding them by the dozen...that's encouraged...
Here is my first major gripe: Discriminating against single people / divorced people / people with adult children:
Clicks Family Day
Banking as a family is more rewarding with FNB.
Shop at Clicks on the 15th of every month to earn up to 30% back in eBucks on that day’s purchases when your...
