She's getting 18 - 40 Mbps,
Which is a major improvement compered to the Telkom LTE-A she had which been getting here no more than 5 Mbps these last 2 weeks.
Hello,
I'm planning to recommend Rain R250 / 4G LTE deal to somebody and I would like to hear from people in Pretoria Hatfield how is Rain performing over there ?
What's the the average speed are you getting?
I guess that has to be the case, because there are people who saying that Vodacom is being excellent in spite of the actual undersea cable issue.
But I didn't get the same result thought!
That's what I have noticed when googling, apparently you need to have a contract with Vodacom in order to have access to these data bundles price plan that you are showing.
So they are not available on prepaid SIM card.
And by the way, all 3 of my devices are LTE-A capable.
@Ockie
There's a way to activate these price plan with a prepaid Telkom SIM card as you can see I have done it with mine.
Look at the screenshot below, an example of the normal prices for Telkom. quite different than the previous screenshot.
Yes, I know that and that's not what I was asking for.
What I mean is with Telkom for instance, there are fixed LTE-A data bundles deals even for prepaid sim cards and I was trying to find out if Vodacom has the same thing.
see the example below, a screenshot of LTE-A bundles deals in a Telkom...
I was referring to the download speed, apps still works fine with other service providers too, it's the download speed that's being a problem.
For instance with Telkom right now, downloading just 1GB is taking 7hrs+
Does Vodacom have any Fixed LTE package for prepaid sim card too as Telkom does?
if yes, can you please share with me the USSD code I need to use in order to switch my data bundles to that price plan.
