    It started again! Lost a technical drawing I was working on and my VM corrupted because of window's just restart-and-screw-you-thank-you-very-much I found an update orchestrator service. Disabled that. See if that helps. Can;t believe people aren't in the streets with pitchforks over this...

    Thanks. I've got 11 GB RAM available, CPU is idling even while I'm using the machine. This happens always when I'm away. Windows is normally good with dealing with over resourced machines. I did quote the event log entry confirming that it was an update restart in the op.

    My macbook is my daily work machine, 8 hours a day. For 7 years now. It also restarts by itself killing containers and vms without consideration. Still prefer Windows though. For some reason.
