Just spent quite a bit of time online with both retentions and upgrades. about the same topic
Agent informed that the reason the contract ends on 11th is because mtn billing cycle runs on 12th and they need to end the contract before the next billing cycle. Didnt want to engage on the 35mths...
Also tried their luck with me - Just straight up told them I dont believe in their advice and dont have money to invest with them. Still kept coming back for more.
Lots of red flags - also the "a man of your caliber" line etc
Curious why you think accepting a counter is a bad move? Unless you mean that the other factors outweighed rem in initiating the move so rem alone wouldnt "fix" the issue?
Employers are not all knowing about market forces at all times- market may move on and value a role higher than when they...
In the lucky position, I have both Vox and vuma fibre at my address. Can sign up for new deals before old line is released as long as its on the "other" network - so hope it doesnt come to that, but if it does, I'm ready to jump ship chop chop
Oh its the billing period - never noticed it before and thought it was an impending date for escalation. No harm, never said I got charged wrongly...
Anyway- does anyone have a copy of the T&C's somewhere?
yes, nothing changed *yet*, except there's what appears to be an expiry date in the descriptor. "FTTH-VUMATELBLACKFRIDAY2022-500/200Mbps (2023-11-01 - 2023-11-30)"

So I just logged in to Cool ideas to pay the monthly bill and I noticed
This special running only for a year? Didnt see any * revert to normal billing after a year type of T&C's at the time and was looking out for it. I am pretty sure it was supposed to stay as per terms until you move...
I am interested in this for sure. Would be great to review the Synology DS723+ and share my experience with the community. As an existing Synology user, I am thrilled about the chance to test and review this device, particularly as I currently own a DS218+ so have a baseline to compare against...
I had the original deal - and on 24 mth cycle since, but took a 36 mth deal in 2020. So if your theory holds true I should upgrade now and not wait until 36mth deal expires next year
I should add that i'm on 2020 deal with 36 mth duration so if there is some sort of 24 mth cycle then it may make sense to try and stay on that but if its just my imagination then I can sleep on until next year
Currently on a 2020 BF deal expiring 2023.
Wondering if I should grab this one. Are the really good deals running on a two-year cycle from original BF deals? so good deals in 2018,2020, 2022, 2024?
Anyone with insights as to how last years deals compare to these ones?
