    Cool, I have been googling, but need to know if it better to have the agreement drawn before approaching the courts or will be enough for us just to draw up the agreement, if we choose this route.

    Mine does, but I think she is seeking advice from a few friends, which seems to be making this process a bit more difficult. At least here, people are not biased.

    We have sat down and discussed a few things so far. We have kids and have an agreement in place for shared custody if the divorce goes thru. We have also agreed on how to split up the assets. So I hope it is simple to proceed. Would like to try counselling first though.
