Door frame is the smaller size 762mm x 2032mm
On top of that I've also installed a custom Bi-fold door which when folded only uses a radius of 381mm for movement.
Now that I think about it 🤔 we have a 3rd bathroom on the OTHER side of the house that follows as a similar layout to what you've suggested. Its a little bigger (1.95m x 1.95m) but faar from the bedrooms so really just acts as a loo for day guests.
The thing is, the house we recently bought has a few extremely tiny spaces in a way that they're barely usable.
So I'm looking for ways to make small increases to those spaces..
E.g the bathroom below can barely be used by an adult... so I'd love to push the window wall back by 1m or 2m

@WAslayer Thanks for the feedback!
Is there a specifc name for "type" of extention in the aforementioned picture? It looks like the extended roof is lodged into the existing roof?
Hi everyone
I've seen this room/roof extention on a few houses and had a few questions:
1. What type of roof/room extention is this?
2. Is it a good idea to have such an extention? Any typical issues with it?
3. How does it look from the inside? Does it appear to be one room or does it still...
Also on a semi - related note... Financing these renovations.
Given the recent Joburg municipality property valuation increase, assuming the valuation is correct:
Does that technically mean you have more equity in the property?
If so, could you use the valuation to convince your bank to...
Sorry actually this might be a silly question, but I'm struggling to understand how the project could get up to numbers as high as R200k - R300k? How would that number be split?
% allocated to Demolition of x5 Non-load-bearing walls?
% allocated to re-tiling say 50m2 area? (60x60 porcelain...
Alright seems the consensus is to go with a single contractor.
Yes please do share your contractor's details, would very much appreciate it... and thank you for the advice.
