    Thanks @azbob. But I just want to buy them as a regular item in regular shops now and again when stocking up on snacks, not having to do an internet shop and pay shipping etc days in advance! Anyway, I was just wondering what the heck happened to them. They used to be common. Now not. Weird.

    Can't find any "first-nation" peanuts either Hemi :giggle: I found some small packets recently in an Indian spice store, they identified as 'spicy'. The skinned ones always seem a little stale to me. Especially when combined with raisins. I would just like to pop into any old store, anywhere...

    Have not seen for years in small, large (JHB north areas), complete idiot at roasting them from raw. So what happened to them. used to be easy finding a 500g bag of Safari redskin roasted and salted or 'pub nuts.' Sometimes fina a random, no brand tiny pack here and there, but nothing mainstream...
