    Thanks it is on IPv4 but still the same. I have even reset my router to factory settings and the firmware is the latest.

    Hi, yes it does support 5ghz Its a D-link dir-825 (AC1200) Laptop picks up only 2.4ghz and cell phone huawei P30 pro picks up both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. There is only about 10mbps downloads difference between 2.4 and 5ghz.

    Both., The 5ghz has slightly higher download speed. I have even tried changing the channel of the router to 1, 6 and 11 but the same results. My distance from the router is about 2 meters away and on all test i only had one device connected.
