Put together a system few years ago (DIY). Used an old computer UPS, drilled holes in the casing, then pulled thick power cables through for an external 200AH battery to power it a lot longer than the tiny internal one.
Runs the TV, lights, and Mnet in the lounge. Later I added 150W solar...
They keep telling me the SIM is not registered - BUT IT IS ! I had them double check when I bought it at PeP stores. Seem Cell-C's systems are broken or something...
Ill rather port to Vodacom, as its simply too much trouble with CellC.
Having the same issue - bought yet another CellC sim PAYG and made sure they Rica'd it, but I also get a fail due to non rica. I sent a PM to Cell_C rep and lets see what happens.

I have a similar issue - when I check balances (*136#) I have data but I cant browse the internet? MTN spams me with a lot of sms's that my bundle is finished, but it shows data on my balances...
I guess porting to MTN was a mistake - will have to go back to cellc or some such because the data...
I am unable to connect my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 to my laptop with the data cable. It simple does not pick it up and I get a message from windows that it does not recognize the usb device.

OK so I guess I have figured out what went wrong, and no thanks to the poorly detailed info on vodacom's website....
I read now on the small little booklet that came with the sim, that it must be rica'd but not activated yet - in other words it should not be put into a phone before you send...
