President Jacob Zuma must pay back the money for Nkandla

Ok, one question. Where is the paid-back money going to come from? His savings account? The Gupta's? A little cute donation fund from all his loyal supporters? Where?

Where ever it comes from, it cannot be public money. The CC ruled that he must pay it back, personally. :D

It can only be paid back from corrupt proceeds.. so more than likely the Gupta's or someone else..

Then donations tax comes into play over and above that as well.

He couldn't sell that poorly built shytehole for the amount of money he will need to pay, plus he doesn't own the land so it would be difficult to get a bond on the land or sell it. It might have to be transferred to our esteemed and xenophobic knobhead of a Zulu king.

Doesn't matter, most important line of the ruling was this "President Jacob Zuma has failed to uphold and defend the Constitution as the supreme law of the land."

This is going to haunt Zuma forever
 
Wonder if the Guptas will drop him like a hot potato now that he isn't useful?

Although the Shaiks will probably support him.

Although I expect the ANC members of parliment will vote as a block to protect him.

They will keep him around, in the back pocket. He will however become cheaper to maintain the less useful he becomes.

Could be interesting. They follow the word of the NEC. Do the NEC want to be seen to be still be supporting Zuma after this?

Are their "Little Skeletons" so big that they keep supporting him? Or do they go down with their leader?

If the NEC decided to withdraw support they would avoid the embarrassment of parliamentary impeachment and simply recall or retire him. If there is an impeachment vote in parliament you can assume that they would have already made that consideration and members will not vote against him.
 
If he retires before he gets impeached he gets a pension but he has a huge ego. Which one wins? Ego or money?

Or he could just carry on regardless. Cough up some bucks from his shady backers, make out it was all a misunderstanding and the incompetence of a few scapegoats, have a fat chuckle and carry on carrying on.

If he is impeached then his entire cabinet, by law, must also leave. I see him being recalled. No way the cabinet will accept losing their jobs.

Black middle class will not go out and vote for ANC and both metros in Gauteng and PE are vulnerable. I expect Zuma to step down soon.
