I think Hip hop as experienced from the laaaaate 80's to the mid 2000's is dead. It seems to have taken a turn to rap pop and mumble rappers to toasted on lean to say the words. French Hip hop is still legit, but it seems the whole culture has shifted away from the core and it's now just money, hoes, dranks and kangs! Meh!

Music is also about luck. Some artists are just unlucky and not at the right place at the right time while others are just lucky. We do have some talented artists.

It didn't even take me long to find.
 
The majority of people in the world think classical music is shyte.
The majority of people think Rap, Hip Hop. Rock, Heavy metal, Punk. country etc is crap.
The most popular genre is probably Pop music, but even that a big percentage of the world will think is crap.

So listen to whatever you want, just remember most other people think your taste in music is shyte, whatever it is you listening too.
