Drive Jhb to Cpt

They are not unreasonable people.

I got stopped at Colesberg once and he wanted me to come over to the camera and see how much I was doing I said it’s fine I know it was 138 or some such odd number because I had cruise control on and the GPS showed it the whole time.

He was impressed that I was well aware and I was open about being guilty and told him it’s fine to write the fine no hard feelings.

Asked me where I was going and where I came from etc and then we chatted a couple of minutes and then pretty much sent me on my way.
Sure…

Cities tend to have **** butcheries or expensive butcheries, platteland butcheries tend to have great meat at a great price.
So you also plan your travel route around butcheries. I never knew that was a thing particularly for a long trip like jhb to ct. TIL.

Butcheries are a plus, I dont like driving the same route over and over again, I like to mix it up.
I put it to you again Mr. Pistorious. Do you or do you not plan your route around butcheries?

Not really, but I dont see why I cannot or should not, I like the idea that after driving that amount of kilometres, of a braai and a beer, since it goes well together.

So if you read my original response, I said I would save the post as it make perfect sense to me, maybe not so much to you.

Richmond Astron/Caltex has a shop selling springbok biltong next to it.
Some time ago there but the best game biltong.

Butcheries on the way back, restaurants everywhere along the way.

For us it’s stopping at random padstaalitjies. But I do not plan my route around butcheries, if there happens to be one, sure I’ll stop but it’s not the objective nor will I go out of my route just to buy vleis.

Oh for sure I don’t plan around it, more just keep it in mind along the way when travelling through the Karoo.

DENIX REPLICA DOUBLE BARREL SAWNOFF SHOTGUN 1881 COACH GUN | JB Military Antiques

Nothing like having an old couch gun as companion.

Leave cape town at 3 in the morning. Then by the time you hit gauteng you will be driving in daylight. And with many vehicles on the road it helps for safety.
