I'm calm. What investigation are you referring to now?
A client of mine lives in Kempton near the airport, she has not been load shed once since this all started. Ever. Don't know the exact suburb, but she does not live in an estate.

This is not from any of the the usual Eskom media accounts but from sanews.gov.za.

so wet coal and breakdowns, gg;wp

“In terms of the system, we are not where we want to be yet in terms of getting our total unavailability down, the 17 000 MW is too high.”

At least they pumped water back at full power on the 16th, probably because there is more wind, less diesel too with more wind:

They haven't used the wet coal excuse for sometime. Being wondering when it would be back especially with the rainy summer we have had.

Well that's my question answered. As long as they don't go to all day stage 4 over the weekend, I'm happy. I'm missing my early afternoon timeslot over the weekend. Yeah yeah before you say it. Frog, boiling water, I know but sometimes you have to take what you can.

Basically confirmed by the CoCT tweet, who are suspiciously no longer giving any protection on the weekend (used to be only no protection on Sunday) or after 4PM on weekdays. Perhaps one of the Steenbras thingies is undergoing maintenance / broken.

That's an estate. Not a whole suburb.
Some areas are exempt.

The 66kv line supplying Mosselbay CBD and Voorbaai is exempt due to the critical load to the PetroSA refinery, as per Clause 8.6.8 of NRS 048-9-2017 (refineries, fuel pipelines, associated loading and off-loading depots should be excluded from emergency load reduction requirements).

Surely the areas our supreme leaders stays in will fall into the critical load category.
