Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes killed in Durban nightclub shooting

Controversial Opinion:

1. If his ex gf father had him killed because of how superior bad our justice system is, I will give him a pass as a father myself, I would likely do the same, eye for an eye.

2. If it was someone else, hopefully our superior bad justice system will find the killers and bring them to book.

3. 1 above would not be necessary if killers were actually convicted and serve life sentences and not as currently happening, serve one 8 year sentence for multiple murders.

But how would you even know it's an eye for an eye and not an eye for nothing?

Does it honestly sound realistic to you that AKA would have continued to party the night away after his girlfriend has died? The family is also aggrieved that it's not AKA who administered CPR on their daughter but somebody else, why would that even be an issue? In most cases the person close to the situation is often not in a state to offer any help as you can imagine, they need to be assisted themselves, why would you hold it against them that it was some stranger who was doing CPR?

My feeling here is that emotions have overtaken logic on the ex gf's side, of course not saying it's impossible that AKA could have killed her but there are just too many loose ends to confidently come to the conclusion that killing him is totally justified, of course assuming they killed him, no one in a sober mind can look at this situation and totally ignore the fact that Anele was a troubled person, her father even alludes to the drug and alcohol abuse that is a very serious concern amongst the youth, in a way admitting that there was a lot more going on.

As some posted earlier in the post, he wasnt assassinated, he was shot

Someone of AKA’s stature and they accept a job for maybe R250 000? Seems like they were desperate.
Given SAPS track record of catching criminals and the justice system track record of convicting and sentencing criminals, the risk is not that high. I think there would be plenty of takers of that R250,000 in KZN, where life is cheap.

I would guess for whoever is behind this the big job now is to take care of the killers, if the cops don't get to them first the owner of the job will, just to tie loose ends.

Is Moses Tembe not big in the casino / gambling business? Not the sort of person you want to piss off anywhere in the world methinks.

Yip, I’ve dealt with a few of those casinos people, extremely shady/dodgy, especially the guys high up because they know all the sht that goes down and have to make the call when to “deal” with people that are costing them money or trying to rip the casino off. Those guys know all about sending strong messages and sometimes that may mean that people die in the process. Typically lots of drugs involved both on the premises by clients and themselves, just the nature of the business and drugs bring the bad people in droves. The point is casino bosses know how to “deal” with situations and have all the manpower and contacts to facilitate anything and everything.

I think if it weren't for the surveillance cameras footage leaks the case would have been swept under the carpet.
