Yeah. Things got apocalyptic here in Norwood, from sunny and hot to blowing and dark. Feels like it's 7pm here. Likely all going to simply blow over.

Nice... Had a 4hr session of load shesding from 8...power came back on around 12.40....power off due to storm and winds around 2pm....still off and now its another 4hr session of load shedding at 4pm....good times... :cautious:
 
Had two young birds in a tree outside who suddenly discovered that they could fly when they needed to take shelter from the storm.

More than 10 degrees in 30m. Where is that, Potch?

Speaking of Potch and weather - I was there at Boskop two weeks ago when we had all the rain over that weekend.

Out on the kayaks bass fishing with storms surrounding the dam and next thing we cast and our braided line, instead of settling down onto the water like normal, bowed upwards in a huge upside down 'u' shape and stayed that way. It was just hanging up there in the air with the lure in the water on the other end. o_O The line at the tip of my rod was going near vertical. There was no breeze to cause it so must have been due to electrical charge. I've never seen or heard of that happening before and lasted about 10 minutes. Definite WTF moment.
