He should count his blessings and move on, he is lucky Kaunda did not get around to giving him the proper thrashing he promised him.
I'm sure he didn't have a problem when he was deputy mayor.
 
Two by-elections in the only two wards that the DA won in the Blue Crane municipality (won with 51.2 percent and 59.7 percent) respectively.

The ANC defending a marginal ward in the Sol Plaatjie municipality which they won with 40 percent of the vote in 2021 <--- come on Northern Cape, don't disappoint us. Always many hopes that the ANC will go under 50 percent in the NC, but they always seem to somehow win comfortably at national election time. Definitely not an ANC stronghold province like Limpopo, North West or Mpumalanga.

DA is within striking distance. I hope they can pull off a Kareeberg there. If that happens ANC loses their majority in Kimberley.

Not much of Kimberley left to fight for unfortunately.
