If De Ruyter knows the name why was he speaking to cabinet ministers and not making a statement to the police?

I cannot go and say to world+dog that XYZ has done act ABC, I also do need proof and evidence. Otherwise it'll end up badly for me.

So we are just supposed to lap up what he is saying like good worshippers? I am afraid that's not good enough, would you accept it if tomorrow Mbalula wakes up and tell us that De Ruyter is working with some right wingers to destabilize Eskom and make the ANC look bad?
