Almost daily I have to stop my teens from making dumb choices, albeit nowhere near as extreme, but some of them are straight up idiotic, reckless and downright dangerous.

I don't know the full story of her, nor do I really care to, but to the best of my knowledge she hasn't directly done anything "evil."

The Left: 15-year olds are mentally mature enough to decide whether or not they want to pump their bodies full of hormones or to have their bodies permanently mutilated. They are wise beyond their years.

Absolutely correct that she wasn't mature enough to make the decision when she left in 2015 but her citizenship was only stripped in 2019 when she was 19. She had all the time during that period to realise her mistake.
 
She's high risk and it boils down to basic math. The cost of barring her entry is far less than that of keeping her under constant observation.

ISIS is not doing the will of Allah, you don't have to be Muslim to know they're a bunch of whackjobs on their own.

She was perfectly happy to go to Syria and marry an ISIS fighter and play housewife.

Now that ISIS has been destroyed and she is stuck in a refuge camp in Syria, which I sure it probably better run than some of SA's small towns, she wants to go back to the UK

She changes her appearance and views to suit her agenda, the whole trafficking thing is just the latest means to an end, she is playing the whole Stalingrad defence to get herself back into the UK.

She had zero problems when ISIS were beheading prisoners , she praised the Manchester arena bomber.

She is a traitor and was rightly stripped of her citizenship and can live in Syria for the rest of her miserable life.

If she was an adult at the time she joined ISIS, I'd have totally agreed wth you.

It's just a bit of a grey area because she was 15 at the time. The vast majority of us at that age were a bit immature and have some views we just look back on and cringe at now.

But I don't know her story fully. It could well be that the British intelligence have enough info (that they are not disclosing) that she is just playing games with them and has not renounced those extremist views.

If so, they are fully justified to not allow her back.

Actually their actions are more consistent with classical Islam than the watered down version we have today and their manifesto reflects this.
For instance the historical basis for verse 4:24 is that when Muhammad went on his raids and captured prisoners for slavery, his men wanted to have sex with the pagan girls and women, Allah came along and "revealed" the following to Muhammad.
- forbidden for you are married women except those whom your right hand possesses (captured women including those that are married).
ISIS did the same thing to non-believing Yazidi women and girls and used the Quran as a basis for their actions.
Quran allows war rape so it's just ISIS following their Quran.
Muslims distance themselves from ISIS without realising they just follow the original teachings.
