Absolutely fantastic. I envy a gamer still to experience it.
When you done with that, give my personal favourite From Software game a go.
Sekiro. I still have not completed it. So close.

I've been jumping between games, some sticking, others not so much

On my Series S I'm halfway with Life is Strange: True Colours, and I see Square Enix games on Game Pass are drying out, so I might get back into it sooner than later.
Also on Series S, tried Dragon's Dogma, Ys Origin and Hot Wheels, but none really caught my attention. Might go back to Ys at some point.

My main attention is currently on Atomic Heart but I'm taking it slow since the patches are coming in hot.

On my Switch Lite I just finished Doom 3, was cool, will play the included expansion in future.
Also loving Super Cyborg, fantastic Contra like, think I'm at the last stage now.
Some Goblin Sword on the side as well.
Tried some game demos from the eShop, both Kirby demos were pretty great.

Got bored of Hogwarts Legacy. So picked up Hitman Bloody Money for dirt cheap and having a blast. Still probably the best game in the franchise imo..
What aspect of the game bored you? Interested to find out coz I was thinking of grabbing the game once I finish playing the hell outta Wu Long. I get bored easily with games that drag, I am at the end of Blood & wine dlc Witcher 3 and I feel I am burnt out. I do not know how some gamers actually clear the whole map , every marking. I must admit I do not have the patience nor the time. I'm more of a main story type player but I know very well I may be missing out on a lot of content. Wana finish the dlc and jump on the Wu Long demo before release

I'll get Atomic Heart in a year or so like I do with most games :p

I dunno. Once the nostalgia wears off, it just feels really thin. The story is kind of generic and most of the side quests are just fluff - like "go there, fetch this". The dialog options are pretty limited and the "bad" option doesn't really make any difference to how characters react to you or have any consequences. Combat is repetitive as hell, with very little enemy variety and most of the gear is totally useless and only exists to farm gold. The perks seem unbalanced - like my character seems quite OP. Its definitely a game for casuals (which is fine) but probably not for me. Its also not exactly a technical masterpiece; experienced quite a few graphical and stability issues.

Sounds like I'm slating this game, but its not terrible and its worth playing but don't expect much depth in the RPG mechanics. I'd call it a mediocre action adventure game. I certainly think it lays a good foundation for future games in the Potter-verse. It just depends where the devs want to take it.

If you're saying you feel burnt out from the Witcher, then it might be worth playing this because you don't really have to think too hard, you can just coast through it.

I just finished Hogwarts last night. I agree with many of your points but I think that Hogwarts works well because of the casual nature of it. It is a game that beautifully recreates Hogwarts castle and places like the forbidden forest and hogsmeade is also done very well. Apart from those areas the rest of the map feels a little copy and paste to generate a big open area and yes the enemies could be more varied. By the time you get halfway through the game you have encountered pretty much all there is to fight. I actually enjoyed the combat although you only ever really use 5-6 spells the rest not so much (more for puzzle solving) so yes combat does get repetitive towards the end. Looting is a big after thought in this game and really is just gold farming and by 1/2 through you don't really need money anymore.

That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are a Potter fan, this is the game that really delivers ito fan service.
If you are a hardened RPG'r and not particularly a potter fan, then yes this game will not keep you hooked for too long.

My hope is that these developers take another loved franchise and do something similar.

Also enjoyed it, but only did the main quests and a couple of sides based on spell rewards.

If you follow all the sidequests and collections you will get burnout pretty fast. <-- loads of padding.

Agreed, 3/4 through I just focused on getting through the main quests. Even with some side quests I clocked in 50 hours.
