Controversial question for the older guys - do you wish Apartheid had continued?

Well, just back that idea up a little and ask yourself what they could possibly have expected the outcome of Bantu Education could have been in a country where 80% of the population were black?

The conservative worldview is predicated on the obviously false pretext that nothing will change, and this in a universe where change is the only constant!

Anyone who looks at the apartheid state and sees anything but 5% of the population painting themselves into a historically calamitous corner also suffers from failure to understand that change and progress are inevitable, they are a given and so for a system to work it must be geared in harmony with this reality. Living as an adversary to change is farting against the thunder.

That is why the Nats thought they could pull this off, they thought things would always stay the same. They were fools.
Just like the ANC now. Only difference being the ANC is still SA`s current reality.

All we need is Police (and a justice system), who hate crime as much as the Apartheid police (and regime) hated non-whites.
Crime, corruption, fraud etc are the bane of our society. Wipe that out of the picture and we will flourish as a nation.
I say this because, if the resources, meant to provide services to the people are not abused, then everyone will "eat" from the pie.

Alrighty then
No, not apartheid, but I wish the same government still ran the show.

I have heard many blacks saying blacks cannot run a country.

It's a trap I know but is it the truth.

"source.....source..........source"..... the defendants will want but they have most likely seen it but think otherwise.
I've heard similar on SAfm, the black people are very vocal on SAfm, they confess too much these days about their failure as a people, shame. Funny thing is they venting their frustrations to a white guy named Stephen Grootes.

It's not workable today. If our cops try to drag Gwede Mantashe behind a police van for being corrupt they will tear the chassis apart. Their towing capacity has limits.

Here is a spanner for the works,

Apartheid 2.0

And no, I was 17 when the 1994 elections happened, already had several black students in school with me and back then we all expected equality and democracy.

Instead we got the likes of Mbeki, Zuma, and the ultimate squirrel poisoning democracy with socialist propaganda and Squirrels favourite supper, frogs in a pot.

We have pure democracy in SA. Democracy boils down to 1 man 1 vote, and if the majority vote for socialism them we get socialism via democracy. 1 Thing the Apartheid government did do correctly was to ban 1 man 1 vote, they should have rather implemented a weighting system for how much each individual vote counts (non-racial). This is also a mechanism to save SA now, but will never be considered, so SA is lost.

When did SA remove white voters' franchise?
Do we have a new group areas act that I don't know about?
I wonder how these interracial weddings I have been to got registered.

Maybe 'schit is broken af rn' and 'apartheid should come back' are mutually exclusive?
Well yes, she’s not saying I want to be oppressed, treated like a 2nd class and racially profiled. But what she is saying is that even during those times, the country itself was fine, basic services good, and relative safety - even though the nations unity was broken.

now both the country and the people are broken.

This is the key thing ANC apologists don't seem to understand. Apartheid is never coming back nor is it wanted back

Of course, discrimination is fine as long as it is not the same discrimination used by the last bunch of discriminators.

:rolleyes::thumbsup:

Democratic elections do not make democracy, and as it stands right this minute this country is a De Facto One Party State and not a democracy.

I am completely disillusioned with this shithole, the socialist and communist corruption vibes, the stupid GOT style politics, the potholes, the SOE's, the ANC and EFF the list goes on and on and on.

As Cyril himself said, there is no place for white people in this country anymore and we have taken that to heart.

Thank you Squirrel for shattering the last hope of this country with your money couch and your racist comments, you have lifted the veil.

Hell no. Even though I was very young when apartheid was a still policy. It was obvious it was not right even to a youngster. I think I was around 9 or 10 years old when we had our first "black" in primary school.

That said, the ANC had all the opportunity and backing to take South Africa to the next level were apartheid held it back. Really sad to see the state of my beloved country.

The bigger question for me is where would South Africa be in the improbable chance had the NP won the vote in free elections. I am sure we would be on par if not above Australia in economy and social policy.

I'd rather ask where would we be if the ANC were even a decent half-assed party that could get the job done and not feed so much. The whole NP vote continuation is not really in the picture, it would have never been plausible.

The ANC ever even getting close to "half-assing" a decent government and leadership is about as probable as the NP winning the '94 elections.

So here we are.

Here's a thought, what if the IFP had won the election back then?

Instead SA just barreled ahead with the ignorance in place and fell into ANC leadership. Now everything's fscked because the average black South African is pretty easily fooled into thinking the ANC has their interests at heart.

How did an "educated" electorate regularly vote so blindly and foolishly for the National Party who made the country a pariah regime?

ANC = Terrorist party.

The end.

Look North ..... What does Africa look like ?

The end.
No. Maybe I'm biased living in KZN but the IFP and by extension their leader is decently respected and not as extreme communism as the ANC. Also a very genuine care for their people.

A good example, EVERYONE respected Buthelezi.

Same can be said about mandela - the big "hero".
