Mark Pilgrim diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer

The lack of updates now is a concern.

Mark seemed to be a very social guy and if he was well, I'd think that he would want the public to know.
 
Good on him for staying away from social media.
 
The man fought hard and long. Sad for his family but happy for him, that his suffering is over.

If he were a dog they would have put him down months ago.

I question humans fascination with extending life beyond the point where these is no legitimate chance of survival, not specifically in Marks case, but in general.

We euthanize animals because it is the humane thing to do but we don't afford humans the same mercy (barring a few countries)? Seems odd to me....

Anyway, not really the place for this discussion, but watching his health unravel over the last year or so on public media, one questions the point...
