Traces of explosives found at Nord Stream pipelines, confirming 'gross sabotage,' Sweden says

This dive table tells me I have 5 minutes at 190 feet for a no decompressiom dive. I will however note that the normal recreational dive tables has it as 5min at 40m.

Interesting - its like the P8 fuel - time seems stretched pretty fine

so the NYT and the Zeit independently yet magically simultaneously start to casually point the finger at Ukraine?

I'd be worried if I was Zelensky, USA sure as hell did it, but it seems Zelensky's overlords have decided he is fit to go under this particular bus and they're starting to coordinate the media attack

This ship was directly over the pipeline on Sep 5th ...

Greek registered tanker & has a crane which makes it more interesting.

From his other post of the tracking of it looks like dodge upwind then drift scenario to me but with that crane you could be dropping any decent sized craft over the side with it.

They do that sort of thing tho, whilst their waiting on orders.

The German investigative authorities have apparently made a breakthrough in solving the attack on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines. After joint research by the ARD capital studio, the ARD political magazine Kontraste , SWR and ZEIT, it was possible to largely reconstruct how and when the explosive attack was prepared in the course of the investigation. Accordingly, traces lead in the direction of Ukraine. However, investigators have not yet found any evidence as to who ordered the destruction. On the night of September 26, 2022, three of the four strands of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines on the bottom of the Baltic Sea were destroyed by explosions.

Specifically, according to information from the ARD capital studio, the investigators are contrasts, SWR and ZEIT managed to identify the boat that was allegedly used for the secret operation. It is said to be a yacht rented from a company based in Poland, apparently owned by two Ukrainians. According to the investigation, the secret operation at sea was carried out by a team of six people. It is said to have been five men and one woman. Accordingly, the group consisted of a captain, two divers, two diving assistants and a doctor, who are said to have transported the explosives to the crime scenes and placed them there. The nationality of the perpetrators is apparently unclear. The assassins used professionally forged passports, which are said to have been used, among other things, to rent the boat.

According to the investigation, the command set sail from Rostock on September 6, 2022. The equipment for the secret operation was previously transported to the port in a delivery truck, it is said. According to the research, the investigators subsequently managed to locate the boat again the following day in Wieck (Darß) and later on the Danish island of Christiansø, north-east of Bornholm. The yacht was then returned to the owner in an uncleaned condition. According to research, investigators found traces of explosives on the table in the cabin. According to information from the ARD capital studio, Kontraste, SWR and ZEIT, a Western secret service is said to have sent a tip to European partner services in the autumn, i.e. shortly after the destruction, according to which a Ukrainian commando was responsible for the destruction. After that, there are said to have been further intelligence indications that a pro-Ukrainian group could be responsible.

The ARD capital studio, Kontraste , SWR and ZEIT spoke to sources in several countries for their research. Security authorities in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and the USA were involved in the investigation into the destruction of the pipelines. In Germany, the Attorney General is in charge of the investigation, which has commissioned both the Federal Criminal Police Office and the Federal Police. Even if traces lead to Ukraine, the investigators have not yet been able to find out who commissioned the suspected group of perpetrators. In international security circles it is not excluded that this is also a false flag-Operation could act. This means that traces could also have been deliberately laid that point to Ukraine as the culprit. However, the investigators have apparently found no evidence that confirms such a scenario.

Seems like BS. The amount of professionalism required to pull this off and then leave the boat dirty.

You only have time for one simple task due to the limited time and nitrogen narcosis.

My minds open but i keep thinking we're getting pushed towards the divers planting explosives theory when it just seems a bunch more straight forward to have done it with a P8 to me.
Herch & his salinity nonsense wrote that one off for me.

Just out of interest here's that tanker from above drifting around off Gibraltar for the last few days - same like over the pipelines but my sub isn't as high level to show the tracking better. "waiting on orders"

The other interesting thing on that ships track is the depth - 60M i don't even see, its deeper.
Even if it were 60M would we not need to be looking at a bottle mix for the narcosis angle?
Does that let one have more time there also?

The use of different gas mixes (technical diving) with decompression stops could extend your time at the bottom though...

Intelligence Suggests Pro-Ukrainian Group Sabotaged Pipelines, U.S. Officials Say

WASHINGTON — New intelligence reviewed by U.S. officials suggests that a pro-Ukrainian group carried out the attack on the Nord Stream pipelines last year, a step toward determining responsibility for an act of sabotage that has confounded investigators on both sides of the Atlantic for months.

ooooops !!!! :p

What are the wild theories about the benefit to Ukraine for stopping Nord Stream?

That does require a bigger footprint though. If you can find an exposed section using sonar and arm the charge on the surface all the diver has to do is to place it correctly so 5 minutes should be enough.

This is the genius of the machine, it can be 'proven' to be anybody but the culprit. And the lemmings will believe and defend it.
