Eskom announces 29-hour load-shedding break

Eskom will suspend load-shedding from 11:00 on Monday, 20 March 2023, due to significantly lower electricity demand than expected.

The suspension of load-shedding will last until 16:00 on Tuesday, 21 March 2023, before the utility reverts to stage 2 load-shedding.

If there is still loadshedding tomorrow then is it really suspended? I think its more likely that the dude who flicks the switches on and off is out there rioting with the EFF and will only be back tomorrow.

No, this proof that Andre had no freakin clue on how to run Eskom.
Lol at all the people who think this little anomaly means it's fixed. As of yesterday there were still close to 21,000Mw offline. Nothing has improved except the reduced demand. Just because 6 stations managed 70% for a bit means less than nothing. It's just spin to make the gullible believe it's better

Had a few failures in my Home Assistant setup because I never catered for there not being load shedding #HappyLittleMoments.

Oh so what suddenly caused the "Reduced Demand"? did the demand never reduce during Andres tenure, is that why we had constant load shedding?

You do understand that demand is a result of client side usage and Eskom has no control over that right?
