This is a master class from Klaasen! When he's in the groove, he's in the groove. Unbelievable knock... So far...

That is him toning down his optimism. Then you better learn to tone down your optimism before the WC ... you just cost Miller his wicket![]()
When Klaasen is in form he's a sight to behold
Maybe not so muchWe suck
You welcomeMaybe not so much
Every year, every format, when there's a World Cup coming up, I believe we're going to win it. I don't even try to fight it any more. That is him toning down his optimism.

I get the impression that there is no team spirit. Everyone seems to play for themselves. OK maybe some players have trust, but it does not seem like it.Our batting is very fragile. Its usually just 1 batter that brings the game back to a win. Temba and now Klaasen. The rest couldn't do anything.
If we can get a proper consistent batting lineup then it will feel more comfortable. That said a win is a win and we take it.

India play a more conservative brand of odi cricket, they aren't wc champs. SA is looking for something similar to what England does. Which is keep going no matter what.Must be because these players aren't useless. Everyone else fails and then 1 batter comes and just performs then the next game he walks for a duck or less than 5. If I compare SA to India. Even if India loses like 4 quick wickets they are still in control and rack up good partnerships to get them over the line. IF we lose 4 wickets, we just hope that from those that are left standing at least 1 guy can perform and carry us to the finish line.
As a fan it doesn't make for good viewing. I hope they figure it out and fast because we don't want to be left red faced after facing The Netherlands.

So like is Rickleton ever going to score runs? If he is the best of the rest, then we are in serious trouble.
He made runs in county cricket as well. Not just the SA domestic setup. Just needs time.He hasn't looked good so far, tbh and it's hard to say because dominating in domestic cricket these days does not mean a player is ready for international cricket due to the different standards.
But they should keep faith in him. Even guys like Amla and Kallis started off very badly before going on to dominate.
