Is it just me or is the Magic Mouse the worst product ever?

I must say I've come across my first annoying quirk in macOS with dual screen setup. Sometimes the dock will move over to the second screen, I'm not even sure how to make this happen on demand, it seems random at best. But getting it back to the main window of the laptop screen takes forever. Furthermore you can't turn this behaviour off without turning off "Displays have separate spaces" which I still want to keep on...!

Anyway I know this is originally a mouse thread, but seems like a good place to vent :p
This happens, when you leave \ hover the mouse at the bottom of the screen for a few seconds, then the doc will move there. to move back, just got to primary monitor and hold the cursor at the middle bottom of the screen, then it will move back.

@Bryn I can confirm Google Drive now works without the recovery intervention.

In fact I'm not sure it's Beta any more as the installer links point to the default location now so seems like it's the same single package.

I guess the M1 Binary inside could still be slightly different.

Awesome. Thanks for confirming.

This might make it better or (more) worse depending on your preference.

That is horrific.
My Dad seems to be very happy with the Magic Mouse on his Mac but I absolutely hate it.

Luckily I have an ASUS ROG Mouse that I use both at home and at work, only when I go to his place do I have to deal with the ergonomic mess that is a Magic Mouse.

For the love of me, I still cannot understand why the location of the charging port is such an issue for millions of people.

Lots of Apple fans buy Apple products because of the looks - love it or hate it, the Magic Mouse has a sleek design - which wouldn't have been possible if the charging port was not on the bottom.

The above argument aside, it really charges so fast, every single person on this planet will, whilst working, take a 5min smoke break, or go and make a cup of coffee, or go to the loo, or whatever - in those few minutes, it can already charge enough to last you the rest of the day.

It takes less than 4 hours to charge it from completely empty to completely full, and if it has a full charge, it can last you for weeks (so is it THAT difficult to put it on the charger overnight, ONCE or TWICE per month? We plug in our phone/laptop/watch etc daily?). If you can manage the charging of your phone or laptop to meet your specific needs, how much easier is it to do it with the mouse?

Lastly, would anyone want to use it while it is plugged in and charging? Does that not negate the whole idea of a wireless mouse? Are we back in the early 90's??

Why do the rechargeable ones only last a month but the battery powered ones last a year?

My MM is at 43% and charged it in August last. The only reason I know its last charge date, is because I lent a friend the nice black braided lightning cable on his birthday at the end of August, and the ******* still has my cable.

I use Energizer's (non rechargeable) with my MM & get about 6 weeks with fairly heavy use.

I should prob/rather pick up a MM2 on the Marketplace for relatively cheap.
