Apple TV 4K (2021 vs 2022)

Deal, but only when you stop insulting our intelligence with the absolute bs that you post.
Like what ?

What has been so incorrect to upset you ?

That I preferred wired links ?
That it can't do AV1?
That it can't offer full bitstream?
That it can't do Netflix interactive?

Just tell me what BS and I'll correct it. If you getting upset over facts, well ... that's your issue :/ But if something wrong, be my guest and point it out !

So you know how things progress in the real world ? WiFi 4 and WiFi 5 and WiFi 6 ?

It’s the same thing

You don’t need WiFi 6 , do you? WiFi 5 was ok ? And you therefore don’t need WiFi 7 ?

So you are saying you can't answer the question then? Deflections as usual.

Please illustrate exactly what changes from my user experience if these features are enabled tomorrow. What are the benefits? Why would my life be changed in any meaningful way.

Thats a weird thing to claim, why would I be upset about those points, I haven’t disputed them?
It’s the other 17 pages of being obtuse about anything and everything including your old chestnut that there’s a forum conspiracy to hide anything that shows Apple in a negative light.

So my point then stands, it will add exactly zero value to me.

But in Dolby's world, if you do not have it, the product is bad, even if you will never need it.

Edit correction: His will also be the only with problems if the product had it of course.

But other people have Apple TVs, don't they ?

Do you think it could be a disadvantage to other people, perhaps ?
And if it is - do you think it's fair to say it's a negative of the product ?

If you guys think this thread is hectic, should have SEEN the carnage when my old Android opened apps faster than the latest iPhone. That was intense - I think they even had to lock the thread!

'You take that back now! How dare you have the audacity to say something like that! You're an absoluter liar!'

Anyway, another question. It seems almost every tv you can buy these days are smart tv's. So Why does all these tv boxes not start to disappear? Or if the smart tv's are not that good or reliable, why not still get tv's that is not smart.

Don’t see how it’s a disadvantage to anyone.

And considering Apple is part of the AV1 governing body I’m sure they have plans to implement it once it is mature enough.

Nobody is at a massive loss like you are implying until they do, so no it’s not really a negative.

As we are all well aware Apple only introduces things when they believe then to be ready for mass market and user acceptance.

When you book into a hotel you can't take your tv with and plug it in.

1. They just aren’t mass market enough across brands and therefore always fall short somewhere. Generally also have terrible processor so tend to be super slow.

2. You don’t really get high quality TV’s that aren’t smart any more so it’s just one of those things.

For a long while I ran my LG with WebOS only and it wasn’t the worst experience but when the option came along for an Apple TV 4K I jumped at it for a universal experience across televisions but also for easy access to Apple Music over my sound system etc. Airplay, the odd game all makes it worthwhile for me.

And when you replace the TV you simply move it over, job done.

Can you play Youtube music on the 4k Atv, is there an app?
Is there any native digital audio output like the older Atv models had and if not how can you feed a Dac?

I see ... very strange though you can't see a use case - especially when BSB just said he loved it

Yea they joined late - right now it's only the two largest video platform on earth that support it . And I think pretty much & pretty much every TV & media box available . But let's wait

Yea - and cheap enough, as well .

Do you really think everyone does not know your history and what shyte you post?
That thread is just another example of your kindergarten arguing skills. You hammer for 20 pages on how fast your Huawei can open a few apps faster than the iPhone, or maybe how YOU think the camera is better, but you don't acknowledge that 95% of all the other things the iPhone does better. Not that you or anyone else care if you open an app 0.0002s faster, but you had to specifically go and google for something that your Huawei can do better, just to come argue in a circle for days.
Its back to that Ferrari again. On a thread where people discuss how pretty and fast and great road holding their Ferrari is. You will come and complain that it can't do off-roading.
