When next they ask, give a ridiculous figure, like 370" or something like that.People that can't read. The headline states 37" LCD tv. Why would you ask me how big the TV is?
Don't frequent thoseYou should get out more. Many pawn shops that still sell them.
but it could be why they keep asking how big it isGood news. No bent valves or any other damage. The dealer did belt and pulleys and it seems to be sorted. The the trip back the Pretoors will be the stress test.Transporter failed me yesterday. Took a good look and found a sheared the cambelt at 110k. Not sure what the extent of the damage will be, but I hope it's just new belt and pulleys and not valves etc... Thank the pope I was 3km out of White River and not the ass end of MP.

Standard ****?When my bank texts me that my credit card is about to expire and they will send the new card to some random branch. They tell me to text "2" if I want to change it, but it doesn't work, and it's not the first time it has happened. Previously I've even tried calling them, but they still messed up and still sent the card to the wrong place.
lol my bank approved me for a credit card... issued the card, then 3 weeks later sent me a letter from their fraud department saying I needed to contact them urgently. I did that, and they'd cancelled the card as I "no longer met the credit requirements to hold the card"When my bank texts me that my credit card is about to expire and they will send the new card to some random branch. Only one I could think of who still sends cards to the branch.Standard ****?
Jinne they don't just courier to your door like a normal bank? When my bank texts me that my credit card is about to expire and they will send the new card to some random branch. They've always delivered straight to me.FNB does as well. Collected mine from a branch.
You have to go in most of the time to activate all the functions most of the time in any event.Jinne they don't just courier to your door like a normal bank?
Yeah it's been couriered automatically for the last what...10 years? They've always delivered straight to me.
Possibly, but Standard still wants people to go into branchYeah it's been couriered automatically for the last what...10 years?
Never had to go into branch to activate functions on my cards either. You have to go in most of the time to activate all the functions most of the time in any event.
What's REALLY annoying about this is that this bank let me have a custom pic on my debit card - which was nice.lol my bank approved me for a credit card... issued the card, then 3 weeks later sent me a letter from their fraud department saying I needed to contact them urgently. I did that, and they'd cancelled the card as I "no longer met the credit requirements to hold the card"
bank fired.
That would be an option, if their whole "reply with 2 for alternative arrangements" setup worked... or if they took note when someone phoned due to the sms thing not working.Jinne they don't just courier to your door like a normal bank?
