Back on topic, you can stop the ATV from reminding you that your Airpods are within range by going into Settings﹥Remotes and Devices﹥Bluetooth﹥Suggest Nearby AirPods﹥On|Off.

If you want to connect your Airpods you then connect them manually.

I paid R2,499 for it, otherwise yes, would have chipped in for 128GB (not Ethernet as it's not necessary).

You probably have plenty of HDMI cables lying around the house. No need to fill more landfills.

Well it only have more gb's which you probably won't need and people will not really pay more for. So basically that R400 is just for an ethernet port and thread support.
 
I have seen 2 YouTube videos the last week where guys claim that you may get dips in your streaming through wifi if you have many wifi and smart devices in your house affecting the signals.
Maybe I should take Trollby's advice with a tablespoon of salt
 
Geez since I posted this morning we have THREE @airborne quotes complaining / insulting and moaning

The flawed logic is ‘

‘I’m happy to pay extra for the storage I don’t know or not know what to do with. It’s probably 90% more than what I need - but its a nice to have . But I refuse to use an Ethernet port offering more bandwidth because I’ve spent so many pages fighting against it’

Where did you buy it from. Wanted to buy from Avo the other day and they were out of stock and cheapest other deal is R2800 at Incredible connection.
