What is it with all of these posts where they bought a car but the COO wasn't done? Do people honestly buy and sell cars and do nothing about the paperwork?

This is Africa; where most laws are not enforced - let alone traffic ones.

It happens. A couple of years ago I bought a classic and it took me just over 2 years to get it into my name. Sold it over a year ago and the new owner still hasn't changed it into their name

Why did you not do the COO, it is your responsibility as the seller?
