If he fights cleverly, he can pose a lot of problems for Izzy. (Given his nose is fixed and his cardio is on par)
If Dricus is going to stand with Izzy, Its going to be a very short night for Dricus. But if he plays to his strength Izzy might have problems.

I don't know if Dricus or anyone in his camp is reading this, But if you want to win this fight. Go and rewatch Sonnen vs Silva 1, also Silva vs DC. That's how you beat Izzy, You take this mofo down and you sit on him for 5 rounds, There is no way Izzy is stronger than Dricus so he should be able to smother him on the ground. Be relentless. Don't stand up against him, You cannot win standing up, Dont try to fight fancy or put on a show, Fight to win, and the ONLY way you are going to win is by taking this clown down.

Of course Izzy knows this, But what will or can he do?, Sure he can work on his wrestling, But it's very difficult wrestling another guy who is much more powerful/stronger than yourself. His only real counter will be BJJ from a defensive position. That or he knocks Dricus out before he can take him down.

PS. One thing to remeber though is, Sonnen and DC where pure wreslers. Dricus is also actually a kickboxer who can wreslte a little. But he will need to focus on wrestling like never before.

Let Whittaker fight Dricus. I highly doubt he'll pose problems for Whittaker let alone Izzy lol. Though the MW division needs a new narrative since Izzy has basically beaten all the worthy title challengers

Vettori (x2) and Brunson tried and failed, I'm not sure how Dricus has a better shot than either unless he comes in as heavy as Blachowicz on fight night... Plus, Uncle fester (Dana) has a hard on for entertaining fighters (i.e. strikers,big media presence etc) , it'll probably depend on Izzy pushing for this fight to happen
 
Honestly based on what we've seen, I dont think Dricus is at all ready to fight Izzy. Nose problem or not. He just hasnt put in a performance worthy of a title shot.

but as we know.... Izzy is gonna get what he wants, and Dana is gonna WWE this to the max with the "african" narrative. Izzy is basically being rewarded with an easy fight. We all know he cant cut it at LHW.

A trilogy fight is the only one that makes sense. But hey, everyone just believes **** cos Izzy says it. Since when does the UFC leave rivalries 1 -1 ?

I think Pereira is probably still the guy who will give him the most problems. Round 1 was Pereira's and round 2 was also looking good for him, until he got knocked out.
Pereira is fcking scary.

Dricus, Ja, I agree he is not ready. But it's gonna happen, and if it happens Dricus will need to wreslte fck him. That's the only way he takes it.

But as @gustavo07 mentioned, a Whittaker vs Dricus fight will be better, i cannot see Dricus beating Whittaker, and if Whittaker wins that fight (which he should).We won't see a Izzy vs Whittaker as its already 2-0.
I think Usman should move up to Middleweight since he has lost his last 2 fights. That will be intertesting.

Yup, he just got too hasty. Izzy saying that he was playing possum is #1 bullshit... his training kicked in and perreria was reckless... its also just defensively irresponsible to leave that left hand low like that all the time. Basics stay basics. tuck your effing chin.
I saw the same thing in the open workouts of Islam vs charles and said that hes begging to get hooked over the top... and we saw it happen.

I dont see anyone in the top 5 giving him problems except for Bobby, the 2nd fight was truly closer than most think... and again, as the champion, Izzy put me to sleep in that fight.

Yeah I agree, He was not playing possum, Izzy was getting his @rse kicked and Pereria got reckless. In all honesty there should be a 3rd fight.

Dricus vs Booby is not a number 1 fight for Bobby no, But for Dricus yes.
But I would like to see Dricus fighting anyone in the Top 5 with his "new nose" and to see what he can really do. And he needs to impress.

The problem is Chimaev has not really fought in Middleweight. But going up a weight and fighting and handling Holland like that, he clearly belongs in Middleweight. He is also real big for a Welterweight.
Bobby vs Chimaev would be great though, Chimaev is an elite wrestler, If he fights to his strengths he will give everyone problems. EVERYONE. But as could be seen in the Burns fight, his standup has many holes. It was extremely close, but I had Burns winning that fight. So if Chimaev was to fight Izzy or Pereiria and he does not take them down, he is going to get knocked out. I would say same with Paulo. All these guys are bigger, better strikers and will hit harder than Burns.

Don't think they will do the Dricus/Izzy fight in SA. They will probably try do a northern africa event to try and include Usman onto the card. A fight in SA will be such a big home ground advantage for Dricus and the UFC knows this. Even black South Africans will most likely support Dricus rather than the black fighter from NZ (who acts like he is African). I don't think Izzy would agree to it.

Talking about Burns, I see his next fight is against Belal Muhammad, I see he has been in the UFC since 2016 and im ashamed to say I have never seen Belal fight, No idea how I missed this guy. He has a great record though.

The fight I would have really liked to see is Burns vs Covington, that would be a banger, but seems like Covington is next for Edwards, which I dont really agree with.

GSP who was never a wrestler but ended up outwrestling the wrestlers...His cardio was unmatched, He out struck the strikers, he was even a considered for the Canada Olympics wrestling team, His fighting IQ was out of this world.
