Energy group Megamillion says its Everione Happy electric vehicle will be priced around R300,000 in South Africa

Nice, this will be more than enough for many people's daily drive. I don't personally like how it looks, but the inside looks nice to me for a small car.

What type of charging port is one this one? Type 2?

Atleast EVs are coming in at the lower side of the market now.

Oh hell yes i will take one. "Get the grinders and drills ready boys.... We gona salvage us some batteries and EV motors....."

As someone who drives a junk heap because I barely drive, I don't mind the way this looks. If the safety is okay maybe my next car will be one of these.

And where will they charge them.
With stolen electricity connections.

230KM on one charge is really not bad

You can probably get 3 days pf driving out of that

But they must do a electricity cost vs petrol cost on these things

If you fill up your car 2/3x per month but you charge your car 6/7x per month - I feel with Eskom and Muncipal rates for electricity usage the electric car works out WAY more expensive

Unless you have solar - which adds at a minimum 120K to the purchase price?

With the standard of roads and drivers in SA who would be mad enough to get into something like that?

It has no boot? And only two doors?

Really I get that it's a budget car because of the battery size but they could have put a bit better design into it.
