What game are you playing now? (Part 2)

So is it worth the price ?
If you think about RE games as single one shot then it's debatable.

RE has always been more than one playthgrough and or doing challenges / other modes.

Personally even at 90 zar per hour if we only look at face value and approx 10 hours I would still say so with current production value and quality RE always has been with obvious exclusion of RE3re.

Also... if going for a grand prix experience any title at any price would we be kak. Right.

What do you think?

Loving the game so far. Im quite far already. Hoping to finish it today. Will definitely do another playthrough.

Requiem had 5x security systems and it was bypassed an hour after release already btw.

Capcom really, really does not want their games cracked or modded but they should just give up at this point. Well, they got some eggs on their faces when players straight up pulled out nude mods in a Street Fighter tournament they paid for, hosted and broadcasted so can't blame them too much for trying I guess.

That said, I'm all for mods and trainers but very much against pirated games. If you want it then go buy it.

As for worth the price, well, all RE games can be finished in one sitting. A good number of them literally have achievements for speed-running under timer. So, kinda a moot point. Very few people actually do it.

Started RE4 remake yesterday. My first RE game ever, didn't think I would like it but I'm in chapter 4 now and hooked. Some folks said I should do RE2 remake next, then RE9.

Also picked up Slay the Spire 2, one of my most anticipated games for the year.

This is why I love PC gaming now. Just bough Requiem AND Marathon for R1387 on Greenmangaming. RE Requiem is R1500 on PS5. Ridiculous!! This is why my PS5 is now a paper weight.

Finished Reanimal. Awesome game! Missed a few masks even though I took my time to look for hidden areas everywhere. Looking forward to whatever is next from Tarsier Studios.

Meanwhile, I'm also on my last couple of side quests in KCD1. Almost done with the game.

Re4 imho was one of the weaker ones being too much a shooter than being a resident evil game. But there's worse: re5 and re6 (finally not forgetting re3 remake)

Welcome the family (re7) after re2 remake still is my favorites.

4,5 and 6 moved away from claustrophobic horror and are more action orientated. 4 especially has the fastest combat from the lot. Leon's sections are faster in 4 than they are in Requiem. 5 has the best MP from the lot and 6 is hated on mainly because of its nonsensical plot that didn't move the overall plot forward at all.

1 is being remade next, Wait for the remake but feel free to play the others. And yeah play RE2R next. Should actually have started with that but no big deal. Try to pick them up when you see them on sale. On Steam RE games often goes for under R100 a pop nowadays. It's a fun series and playing in release order will help keep track of who everyone is and what virus responsible was for what.

You'll have questions if you skip a bunch of these games. A side character in Requiem was the protagonist in 6 and played a major part in 2, and you'll otherwise never even know it.

I finished Mafia Definitive Edition a week or so ago. It was fun. It actually makes me want to play GTA again.

Now my focus is entirely on Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.

I actually restarted last weekend. There's been so many updates and things and I stopped playing sometime last year because of the increase in Game Pass prices.

Doom dark ages done. Started on expedition 33* and finally continueing with re9.

*what amazing sound design. So far the game that comes with it seems rather good.

I'm feeling like a dog after long sessions playing Requiem. Where's our FOV sliders Capcom?

RE2R/RE3R/RE4R all have full body visibility or as close to it as you can get. RER has upper back only.

Going to use REFramework to finish my playthrough because this is ridiculous.
