I decided to watch the second half last night, saw Westham's goal... this morning reading the news everyone is pinning the blame on Luke Shaw for letting the ball bounce... what BS the person that tracked Soucek was Mainoo and he didnt bother following all the way into box... he slowed down and prayed the cross wouldn't get in while leaving Soucek free to attack that ball
 
I feel sorry for that guy who can't cut his hair just yet. He was soooo close.

Lets see how the players recover from this set-back, I'll revert back to not watching again...
 
Everton crowding the Man U goal for the corner. This is pathetic but PL allows it to happen.

But Lammens commanded the area like the BOSS!!! De Gea would roll over and cry in situations like this... Onana would flap about and let goals in... Bayindir let's not even go there...

The joke with this is not even rugby and American football allow you to hang onto/hold a player when they don't have the ball, and rugby doesn't even allow you to impede a player without the ball (American football allows blocking without holding someone).

Football seriously needs to clean the game up when it comes to set pieces.
 
Im not complaining too much. But I dont think that was a dive, and it shouldn't have been a second yellow.
 
I was on Reddit and came across a question posed to Middlesbrough fans on the r/Championship sub. It was a moderator for the Manchester United sub asking about Carrick's 3-year tenure at Middlesbrough.

The takeaway is that he is extremely likable, but as his time with Middlesborugh went on they lost their attacking fizz, and Carrick became very rigid in how he set them up to play. By the 2nd and 3rd season, the opposition had figured out how to counter and shut Boro down and Carrick never tried to deviate away from his way, seeing them slip from a playoff team in his first season to a mid-table club by the time he left.

Just something of interest.

So Luis Eniqure is available at the end of the season but doesn't seem like these DROS of owners want to even try tap him up...
 
This was deemed not enough contact for a penalty... looked exactly like the first one and Maguire's one...

The arm by Truffert was considered normal contact by referee Attwell, given the dynamic of the two players moving across the area in a relatively neutral position in the penalty area, and I agree.

GGMU. Almost gave it away with those errors for sure. Lots of talk to give Carrick the permanent job but I still feel he's not the man for the job. For now I am ok if he gets a one year extension while they find a permanent manager.

Dude we have all seen this scenerio play out with Ole... It goes something like this

Carrick gets give a 4 year contract, this summer tranfer Ineos brings in 1 winger, 1 LB, 1 striker and leaves the midfield because they refuse to pay for the overpriced CM/CDM that we really need... Carrick ball goes on a free fall because everyone figures him out so half way through the season he gets fired... player power arises again where Mainoo plays like a droos but he is in the starting XI his half brother goes on another locker room leak... we go 10 step backwards and another caretaker coach steps in and tells us the club needs an overhaul
