Standard Bank has given further insights into a data breach it suffered in March, with sensitive customer information released.

This does not surprise me.

If you are a SB client, maybe even a Business client - you know how horrible they are to deal with.
Their systems feel 10 years behind FNB's.
They are just a joke actually IMO.

While the bank said that the specific information involved may differ from person to person, the affected information involved includes names, ID numbers and company registration numbers.

Pffft, I'm sure many govt. depts. have been "leaking" that basic info for decades.
