Which Class will you start Diablo IV with?

I have bought the pre-release Bundle. Epic 32 gigs download. I only see Paladin and no warlock.

You wont:

The Diablo 4 expansion, Lord of Hatred, is set for release on April 28, 2026. This expansion will feature a new class (alongside the Paladin, available via pre-purchase), a new storyline, and the return of Mephisto, expanding on the content from the previous Vessel of Hatred expansion

Was previous story dlc even worth it for continued sp play?

Well I enjoyed the story, only complaint was that it ended rather badly. Seeing that this DLC continues on that it makes sense why they did it. <-- Not a fan of that practice but see why.

So far I am enjoying the story of new DLC. Also warlock game play is interesting, very different than say D2's Warlock but still fun.

Been spending half my time tweaking the loot filter. Warlock is different but not sure it's clicking for me. I might switch back to the pally this season.

Talk about going full ActiBlizz scum.

Existing classes have skill tiers locked in the expansion.

Given how dull the grind is... is this a feasible approach?

Genuine question.

NVM. Just remembered it's now MS. Zero shock here

Yeah its really scummy paywalling skill options in the skill tree. Par for the course for Blizzard

The old Blizzard died out a long time ago

Anyone else experiencing server lag? It's like the server just randomly steps out for a smoke break and leaves you hanging.

Well to be fair, I believe the game should have launched in the state its in now. Has everything lacking from D2 & D3. But with proper D4 game play.

Also like that fact that they used charm sets instead of gear sets, that way I don't give up my Gear for forced stats.

Dont know how I feel about Unique's with random stats yet as I both love it and hate it at the same time.
Love that I can target "My" stats, hate the grind to get them.

The cube is something else. Wasted loads of mats just to understand how it works and stuffed up a lot of gear that could have been useful if I did it now again. There is also loads more that I need to learn looking at the guides.

Sadly I also wasted my token for Echoing Hatred before I knew what it was at T8. Only got to level 75. If I knew that the token was super scarce I would have waited till later end game when I was better equipped with tempered gear and such. AT least I have the Crab with a knife.

Is the DLC worth it, Hell yes, but with all that said, I recon we gonna wait long before the next Season, I think. Looking at how many good dev. people are left I suspect this is the best this game is ever gonna get. Will see.

Edit: Completing the DLC got my Warlock to Level 59 (Cap is 70) so not really a hard grind... (Story is worth it)
Started my fav class for end game, a Necro, and now at T10 with 22 minions :D

FINE, I'll get it!

The sets and charms system is dope. Real rush when they drop. Something new to chase

OH MY WORD!!!!

Hint: Its a Escalation + Nightmare perk tree + Gelatinous Sire Goblins
So we're almost back to the fun of D3... minus the awesome sets with the speed farming boosts

The grind is still waaaay too steep. I want a date. I have no desire to get permanently hitched.
