Hi. I would like to ask where can I find a reputable source to replace my iPhone 6s battery since it died on me this past Sunday. I’m based around Johannesburg West/ Roodepoort area, any helpful suggestions ?

Compare their terms and conditions should they cock up the job and whether they’ll leave you hanging or sort it out and then decide.

Often this price difference is to cover liability.

No brainer to go to the iStore and get an original battery, well worth the R550 premium especially on an a 14 Pro, even on the 12 it’s worth it if you are planning on keeping it for a while.

How does the iStore manage damage while they open the phone, what happens if they crack the back case in the process?
Do they inspect your phone beforehand and verify the case is in good condition prior to working on it. A new back case is hellish expensive , near R5k for many iPhones.

iStore, the wefix one you'll lose any IP rating, the only benefit would be the longer warranty on the battery replacement.
