F1 2026

I really enjoyed the race. I am happy I stayed up to watch it.

the battle between George and Kimi was brilliant.
the Merc looks in a different class. the Meclarens look good, and feels like they have the second best car clearly, but man they had a terrible race from before the start.

George's engine failure was sad for him. would have been interesting to see how that battle continued if he stayed in.
what really stood out to me was that the Merc's were battling hard and fair, but still managed to increase the gap to VER every lap.

HAM looked fantastic all weekend. and the Ferrari was not good on the straight at all. but still he managed to chase down Max and get past. that was driver determination.

another stand out for me was the failure on Cheko's car. that was kind of insane. very lucky it happend where it did. can you imagine if that happend on the back straight?

Kimi was brilliant.

that is going to be a podium we look back on in s few years and say its the greatest podium ever.
like a HAM, VET, VER, or SCH,HAM,ALO or VET,SCH,HAM or a PRO,SEN,SCH

its going to be one of those podiums where you look back and say hey shared between those 3 drivers are 15 podiums.
who knows maybe 15 is a low ball number. but I can see Kimi dominating F1 until 2030 the way he is going now.
and no one would say its impossible for Max to get one more. and some people would say its possible for HAM to get one more as well.

George was robbed.
I like George, but sht happens. Bad luck can happen to any driver at any time.
Kimi to eventually replace Lewis at Ferrari? Seems like a match made in marketing heaven...
What have Kimi ever done to you for you to wish that on him??
Lando had a great start. That was it for McLaren’s race. Kimi kept the pressure on - great drive. Nice to see Lewis come back and take P2. Colapinto must be ecstatic. Great race.
He must be, I think the rest of the grid is as happy that he hasn't shunted anyone off the road in the race.

Well, Kimi's quickly becoming a driver I can enjoy watching and supporting for the future, and I see him winning multiple championships and joining the greats of the sport. Kimi in a winning Ferrari would just be great, so they better start looking into the future to make sure that can happen. There's a reason when certain drivers get hyped a lot, past and present.

Just remember, Kimi is only 19 ffs, so his exuberance on track to me is forgivable.

George Russell will not win a championship, ever.

The other certainty is that Lando Norris will never ever win another championship, so he better enjoy this year for what it is.

Overall an enjoyable race, and I always love the Canadian race, most times it provides excitement in many forms.
Well done for nobody crashing into the wall of champions.

Closest finish in history. 0.023 seconds. Most lead changes in history at 70. The winner ran the outside line for the win at over 210 mph, which takes an enormous set of balls.

Each to their own, my take on it was 499 miles going round and round, then a final lap full of excitement. It could have achieved the same by only racing for 100 miles.

Reminded me of those Olympic cycling events where everyone goes round and round and round till the final lap when they go mal.

Then 5 drops of rain come down and they red-flag the race.
