F1 2026

I think it looks good. Easy to dismiss that it looks similar to the normal livery cause the colours are the same.

Will reserve judgement until I see them live. These digital renders sometimes don't tell the whole story.

They are fiddling with the parameters, hopefully they can set them up for Monaco. They know there are problems around here and they want to avoid someone hitting a wall at 1000 HP acceleration I guess.
Isn't that the job of the thing inside the drivers helmet...

These are not last years cars. Much higher acceleration and lower downforce. Around Monaco theyre going to be death traps.

These are the best drivers in the world, (and Stroll), the should be able to control their cars in such a way that too much power isn't an issue.

Interesting that they don't divulge a contract end date. I assume that this contract potentially comes with multiple get out clauses. If his time at Ferrari carries on like it has the last few years and Mercedes as an example comes knocking, I'd imagine he would want the chance to hear what they have to say.

Or it seems that no other team is really interested in LeClerc...

He is brilliant at times, but (in my opinion) not very consistent. He also chokes on a semi regular basis and then has the most stupid accidents. So until he improves I don't see any of the top teams bidding for him.

Racing for Ferrari is a cushy job by comparison to Macca, Merc and RB I reckon.

I would reckon it is the other way around. You are racing for the most established marque in all of motorsport, not just F1 and have nearly a century of legacy to uphold. Added to that is the almost fanatical nature of the Tifosi watching your every movement. They either idolise you, or bay for your head on a platter.

Ferrari's internal politics are another thing to have to deal with and this has probably been one of the main reasons for their nearly 2 decades wait for another driver's title.

He has the 3rd biggest salary. So only a big team can afford him and none of them needed a driver(main) the last few years.

He had a 2nd, 3rd and two 5ths in the championship the last few years. So Ferrari not great but not that bad. Red bull and McLaren already had drivers. Why would he even consider lesser teams?

Hopefully he doesn't become the next Massa.

I don't know if you can lump him in with the likes of Massa or Barrichello because he's never really had a car that's capable of fighting for the title.

Barrichello watched Michael dominate for ages, Massa saw Raikkonen win in 2007, was in the fight till the end in 2008 and saw Alonso take it down to the last races in 2010 and 2012.

He's just been screwed by Ferrari, 13 wins in 8 years is shocking. Not even Max is winning the title with cars of that level.

Aston Martin is also rolling out a special livery for this weekend, celebrating the collaboration with principal partner Maarden
