No, I don't support BEE. I believe any assistance should be means based, help the poor regardless of race and don't put unqualified people in jobs just because of skin colour.

My view on SAPS, they are undertrained and overworked and they are equally ineffective at countering crime against black people.

We agree on most of what you've said then.
Only the SAPS bit is where my view differs. Throwing a blanket incompetence moniker on them is to make a grave mistake. They still have plenty of very competent members. What they are doing with those skills is the worrying part.

Not being a rabid racist, I try to avoid both. I find your characterisation of people from Orania curious and quite telling though.

As I don't actively go and delve into either, I can only see what comes across the feeds of some of the accounts that I might interact with. Unfortunately it's mostly the racist kind of stuff from people like you and Chumpy that comes up. You are the kind of people I was referring to in my previous post, in case there was any doubt.

You people...? :oops: And are you saying that Affirmative Action doesn't exist in Romania to rectify past injustices towards the Romani people? Aren't a certain number of school, university and workplace positions reserved for them today under Romanian legislation?

I am Siebenbürger Sachsen after my mother and Romanian after my father. Romani on the other hand, are very different. They are not to be confused with the Romanians! They belong to the Gypsies group and are originally from Northern Pakistan/India. They talk a very different language to what the Romanians or Germans talk!
 
I have a Romanian employee. He is funny. He drinks when there is a wedding. He drinks when there is a funeral. He drinks on his birthday. He has a friend who has a coffee shop, but at night time it turns into a bar. Then he drinks. He listens to Die Antwoord. When I say something that is offensive he says "cute".
